Laudato Si’ Week, held in May each year, commemorates the anniversary of Pope Francis’s historic 2015 encyclical on the care of creation and invites us to be a part of the Church’s shared response through prayer, reflection, and action to protect creation.
The 2026 theme is ‘From Hope to Action’ encouraging Catholics and all people of good will to engage in ecological conversion, taking concrete steps to protect creation, inspired by Laudato Si’ and lived through the global movement of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
The core invitation is intentionally simple: Choose one action. Make it count during this week.
