Against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, rising sea waters in the Pacific and the collapse of overlapping ecosystems, this moment impels us to go deeper into the implications of the encyclical, celebrate its impact so far and take seriously our urgent responsibilities as people of faith and members of the Church to heal and restore Earth’s community of life.
